Vicki Maxwell

Vicki graduated in 1977 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a secondary teaching field in English.

From 2002 to the present, Ms. Maxwell has served as both the Educational Coordinator and primary teacher of RRCA’s Creative Dramatics program.  Through this program, Ms. Maxwell has introduced a love of theatre arts, as well as creative problem-solving skills to more than 400 Monroe County children, ages 7-13.

Since 2000, Ms. Maxwell has lead the RRCA’s Summer Theatre Arts Camp, whose two-week sessions give children grades 1-12 the chance to improve their creative dramatics, voice/music, movement/dance skills while having fun and making new friends.  In addition, each summer, the RRCA produces quality musicals performed by the most talented youth in Monroe County; Ms. Maxwell has directed a number of these productions. 

Ms. Maxwell taught English writing and literature at Rock Springs High School in Rock Springs, Texas as well as at McGregor High School in McGregor, Texas.  She also taught English and drama at Mart High School in Mart, Texas.  While there, she directed Senior Class students in plays and musicals, including preparing them for One Act Play Competition through the University Interscholastic League.
