Monroe's School of Performing Arts is a 10-class program where students ages 12-18 can develop basic theatre skills. Classes start this Saturday, January 24th and meet every Saturday morning 10:00 am- 1:00 pm at the Studios on Washington. The class culminates in a theatre production performed by the students. We are planning to license a youth show for this session, which will be decided after the first class! It will include several musical numbers featuring musical theatre style choreography. The performances will be Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, 2026. There will be a technical rehearsal held on Friday, April 17th. There will be no class on March 21st or March 28th. Opportunities will be available for students wishing to learn the behind-the-scenes aspects of theatre production as well!
